E10 Blend introduced in Jamaica. Projected to save Jamaica US 92 million on fuel imports Jamaica Information Service, 11 November 2008. E10 was launched on November 1st, 2008, at Kingston and nearby parishes. E10 will be gradually available throughout the island, until May 2009, when the blend will become mandatory.

Savings for motorists and Jamaica Jamaica Observer 24 October 2008. The launch by Petrojam on Saturday, November 1 of E10 - made with ethanol produced from sugar cane - promises motorists 87 octane gasolene 'at least' JMD 2 less per litre than that currently produced with imported MTBE.
