Bioenergy > Sustainability > Sustainability standards > Third party certification
"Third party certification" is a form of certification conducted by a disinterested third party presumed to be able to make objective assessments, such as of the sustainability of production methods.
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an example of a body that accredits third party certification organizations (in this case in the forest products sector.)
